NNFP and Forest Cooperatives Highlighted in USDA's Rural Cooperatives Magazine

NNFP and the Forest Cooperatives we work with were highlighted in the latest issue of USDA's bi-monthly magazine, Rural Cooperatives.

Forester Thomas Wyse of the Living Forest Cooperative was highlighted on the cover, with a photo taken by Peter Hoffman, one of the NNFP Photo Fellows from last summer's "People and the Land" project. Additional photos from a visit to the Blue Ridge Forest Cooperative as part of the fellowship project were also included.

The highlight of forest cooperatives in the USDA publication brings added momentum to the upcoming Forest Cooperative Leaders Summit at the NNFP Annual Meeting in the Missouri Ozarks. Cooperative managers and board members from Massachusetts, Virginia, Wisconsin, Oregon, and Ohio will be converging to share lessons learned, compare notes on projects, and explore ways to work together.
